These statements make me think that you need to learn about responsive design. " I want a 1920x1080 design to work on my 1024x768 screen.the whole screen size compatibility overwhelms me a bit, I can't seem to understand it." I had like half a comment ready, but, after reading your OP again I think folks here are giving you a bit more advanced answers than I think you need. I might be completely wrong with my assumptions, but the whole screen size compatibility overwhelms me a bit, I can't seem to understand it. So, designing with a more general resolution like (1440x1024) would 'fix' these issues?- If so, which desktop resolution is the best? I've read about Figma's 1440x1024 but I've also heard about a bunch of other sizes. My questions are:- Is my thought correct? I've taken every element's dimension from Figma and properly converted it to rems/em respectively. I'm aware this may get confused with CSS problems and such, but, and although I'm only an experienced beginner, I think this is because I've created the design with a 1920x1080 dimension, instead of a more general resolution like 1440x1024. For instance, using a lower screen size with a default zoom of 100% makes everything bigger, and it only looks good by reducing the zoom to 50%. I was able to recreate a draft, and I've noticed everything looked oversized and bigger on the web than what I've designed. Hello guys, recently I've been learning how to design websites with Figma and apply them with CSS. TL:DR: Should I design in lower screen sizes? Such as 1440x1024/1280x720
